History
New Mexico Inter-Faith (NMIF) is on the forefront of the affordable housing market in New Mexico. NMIF was granted into existence by several Texas corporations to provide further diversification and address the critical needs in a neighboring state. Recognizing the need for affordable housing in New Mexico, NMIF collaborated with community partners, such as Jimmy Santiago Baca’s Cedar Tree, Inc., to identify housing challenges within the state. The “Good Neighbor Program” allows NMIF to help owners, developers and management companies realize the potential of affordable housing and the transformation that occurs from incorporating innovative ideas in an untapped market, specifically through resident services.
